About the Department

The Accident & Emergency Medicine Department is well equipped and is managed by qualified emergency physicians. The department has an easy access for the patients coming in ambulance. The radiology department is closely located to the A& E department to carry out immediate radiological interventions.

All kinds of Accidents, Trauma, & Acute care presentations are managed effectively by practicing benchmark clinical protocols and clinical processes.

KIMS has a unique specialized trauma team composed of trauma surgeons, trauma fellows, surgical residents, anesthesiologists, emergency-medicine physicians and emergency medical technicians for managing trauma cases. A dedicated trauma switchboard is alerted to attend the poly trauma victim immediately.

KIMS Emergency Medical Services has fully equipped ambulances managed by qualified Emergency Medical Technicians for transporting victims with appropriate prehospital care. The inter facility critical care transports requiring ventilator support are transported by anesthesiologists.
