About the Department
The Department of Anesthesia is one of the largest and well organized departments of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd., It has a good mix of highly experienced specialists and well qualified young Anesthesiologists. In addition to providing quality per operative services to various surgical specialities, we also provide round the clock care for critically ill patients in the cardiothoracic, surgical, neurosurgical and medical intensive care units.
Services Offered:
- State of the art anesthetic services : to all surgical specialties and super specialties, both elective and emergency
- Super specialties - cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery including neonatal surgery; plastic and aesthetic surgery and transplant surgery.
- 24hrs Intensive Care Unit service- Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Pediatric ICU, Medical ICU and Cardio Thoracic ICU.
- Epidural anesthesia and various Pain procedures for effective pain management of the post operative patient
- Pain clinics for the management of chronic pain. Obstetric analgesia administered for a painless labour
- Anesthesia for MRIs, CT scans, endoscopic procedures, in-vitro fertilization procedures and Anesthesia Support for Catheterization Lab
Our main aim is to provide a pain free, comfortable experience for the patient in the hospital and discharge him/her as a happy individual we work consistently and cohesively to achieve this object.
